The Employer Assistance & Recruiting Network is a free service that connects employers looking for quality employees with skilled job candidates who have disabilities.
Employment and Disability Institute
The Employment and Disability Institute, housed within the Industrial and Labor Relations School at Cornell University, conducts research and provides continuing education and technical assistance on many aspects of disability in the workplace. The Institute produces scholarly articles, develops training materials, and conducts training sessions on a wide array of disability-related matters.
Life Skills for Vocational Success
This manual was created by Workshops, Inc. to disseminate training resources over the Internet to professionals who work in vocational rehabilitation settings. It provides more than sixty lesson plans on employability, social skills, transportation, money management, health, and other topics.
Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Workplace Supports
The purpose of Virginia Commonwealth University's RRTC on Workplace Supports and Job Retention is to study those supports that are most effective for assisting individuals with disabilities maintain employment and advance their careers. The primary stakeholders for this project are persons with disabilities, with an emphasis on those who are unemployed, underemployed or at risk of losing employment.
WorkWORLD
WorkWORLD is decision support software for personal computers designed to help people with disabilities, advocates, benefit counselors, and others explore and understand how to best use the work incentives associated with the various Federal and State disability and poverty benefit programs. A project of Virginia Commonwealth University, it automates the computation of benefits, and takes into account the complex interaction of income, benefit programs, and work incentives.
