Learning Disabilities
- Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA)
- An international nonprofit organization, ADDA provides information and resources to individuals and families affected by AD/HD and professionals in the field. Their focus is on diagnoses, treatments, strategies, and techniques for helping adults with AD/HD lead better lives.
- International Dyslexia Association (IDA)
- A non-profit, scientific, and educational organization dedicated to the study and treatment of dyslexia. IDA focuses its resources in four major areas: information and referral services, research, advocacy and direct services to professionals in the field of learning disabilities.
- National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)
- NCLD provides essential information to parents, professionals, and individuals with learning disabilities (LD), promotes research and programs to foster effective learning, and advocates policies to protect and strengthen the educational rights and opportunities of persons with LD.
- Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D)
- This group offers materials for anyone who cannot effectively read standard print because of a visual, perceptual, or other physical disability.
